2/8/2025. This is Part 2 of my 14.8 mile hike from Sawmill Gap to Wallace Branch on the Bartram , and Appalachian Trail. After connecting to the AT near Wine Springs Camp and Spring (MM117.8 on the AT), I continued north to Wayah Bald Towerat, which is the highest spot on the Bartram Trail. It is only 4/10 of a mile to the junction where the AT and Bartram split again. The next stretch from the junction to William's Pulpit was a very challenging section that was not as well worn and had a lot of blow downs. After William's Pulpit, the trail returned to the well beaten path I was used to and I was at the Wallace Branch trailhead soon after. #bartramtrail #appalachiantrail #2025 #hiking #adventure #takeahike
