#53 - From Dawn 'til Dusk | Working on the Stone Outbuildings, Pruning Olive Trees & More Antiques

This week, it feels like there aren't enough hours in the day! Michael works from dawn 'til dusk emptying the outbuilding next to the cabin and doing his usual pottering around! For those who missed the last update, we're creating this new space for extra storage (we're currently paying for storage) using some of the wonky beams from the main house. And we're hoping to create extra living space for us and any guests who want to stop at Casa das Parreirinhas! About Us 🏚️👫🏼🐈🐕🐕 We're Michael & Becci (the humans) and Tilly (sassy English tortoiseshell cat), Alfie and Anoushka (Portuguese rescue dogs). After four years in Portugal and numerous dreams about renovating our own property, we've taken the plunge and are renovating a schist stone house and its outbuildings in Figueiró dos Vinhos. We're doing most of the work ourselves (or... Michael is!) and we'll be stepping back in time to create a character property with as many original features and antiques as possible.
