His expertise is in trauma anesthesia, high-risk obstetric anesthesia, and anesthesia for fetal surgery. He has won numerous local, regional, and national teaching awards. He is an alum of New York University, The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Johns Hopkins University School of Education. He is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Echocardiography, and serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Anesthesiology.
