Ever want to paint your compressor like a WWII P40 Flying Tiger? I have, so I DID! Watch the custom paint process as well as the complete rebuilding of the compressor pump. In this video I will show you how a 2 stage compressor works, how it comes apart, and then how it all goes back together! Not to mention my AWESOME Tiger Shark airplane paint job!!! The Compressor pump being restored is a Saylor Beal Model 705 Air Compressor from the 1970's. It is on a 120 gallon air tank, and being powered by a 5 HP AJAX Electric Motor that spins at 1725 rpm... Low & SLOW! Just the way these air compressors like it! I took the compressor pump COMPLETELY apart so I could show you every single part and what it takes to fully rebuild a compressor like this!
