Gary, Christopher, and I were joined by our old friend, Roger. It was moderately windy, just enough to land rockets in the park without going into the canal. Most people in the park are homeless or locals. This was a first with a cheerleader doing handstand practices. When the QCC Explorer landed next to her, I sent Christopher out to get the rocket. There were some technical glitches. I have a good pair of microphones, but they disappeared before the Nevada trip. We're using a pair that I tried to return to Amazon. Their shipping was messed up, and USPS refused to ship them because of the rechargeable batteries inside. I think the one Christopher had wasn't charged properly so his audio was clipping. Also, I'm not sure what setting I had the camera on with the Executioner, but it was stuck on 30fps and wouldn't let me zoom. The Executioner is a scratch build from a Launch Lab plywood kit and BT-80 tubes. I double lined the booster to give the thin walls more strength. The F41 is an awesome motor but still needs a cannon fuse kick to get the motor to light. I still haven't decided what sticker I want on it. Gary was in a mood to break things. He still has a stockpile of Quest B6-0 that are about 15 years old. Some rockets are Cato proof like the Vorticos, some not so much like the Hex-3. The loudest was the Vortico that we could feel inside.
