A few months back I picked up two old sleds at an auction. Paid $30 for the pair. I love this style of sled. They were very rusty, but didn't have significant damage to the frame or the wood. I know some people will cringe at what I did with them, but the idea behind restoring them is so that my kids can use them during the beautiful Wisconsin winters. The sleds of today just don't cut it. The title is a bit misleading, as I didn't start recording until the challenging part of the project was already finished. I hope you enjoy what you see here. -Lumber Jake The blue sled is for my daughter - it is a Flexible Flyer no. 44 Airline Patrol. The red one is for my son - it is a Paris Champion Fastback. I have never heard of this brand and research on the internet turns out auction links only.
