Nashik witnessed a soul-stirring musical evening as the Nair Seva Samajam (NSS) organized 'Ganga Tarangam', a grand violin fusion concert. The event was formally inaugurated by NSS President Shri B. N. Venugopal, who was joined by the Managing and Executive Committees of both the Men’s and Women’s wings. The spotlight of the night was the prodigious Kumari Ganga Sasidharan, whose mastery over the violin left the audience spellbound. She was expertly supported by an ensemble of seasoned percussionists and instrumentalists. Thripunithura Sreekumar on the Thavil, Manjoor Unnikrishnan on the Ghatam, Vaikom Vijayakumar on the Rhythm Pad and Akash Krishna on the keyboard. The fusion of traditional Carnatic elements with contemporary arrangements created a vibrant atmosphere. The NSS leadership lauded the performers for bringing such high-caliber artistry to the community, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to promoting classical arts.
