The first trainer in the Elite four uses mainly ice and water type pokemon. These pokemon can easily be beaten by using electric type moves with pokemon such as dragonite, raikou, jolteon, eletrode, electrabuzz, magneton or raichu. You should have two electric pokemon in your team along with a snorlax which is very useful. Stradegy, The best stradegy to use is simply placing a pokemon using helping hand in the corner while using your two electric types to defeat the level. Stop any pokemon attempting to get through with your snorlax. If you are using thunder I suggest using rain dance also as this increases the accuracy to 100%. Rain dance will also clear the lapras's hail. The pokemon of the elite four are released in a general pattern (from top to bottom), use this pattern to predect where the next pokemon will come from and guard it with your snorlax/slowbro with yawn.
