Solo Bikepacking - 101 Miles. A Peak District Adventure.

This is a fantastic 2 day, bike packing trip in the Peak District, with an overnight camp at Rowter Farm, near Mam Tor, Castleton. It starts at Cromford Wharf, south of Matlock, and then uses a mixture of gravel tracks, bridleways and small roads. Highlights include, the High Peak, Tissington and Monsal Trails; the stunning Longstone Edge; Shatton Moor; Ladybower Reservoir; the Broken Road on Mam Tor, plus the Pennine Bridleway. The scenery and route are both absolutely stunning. It certainly is a challenging ride, featuring tough climbs, a few knarly descents and one push. Would I do it again? You bet I would!
