Hello folks, Today we’re talking about underbody protection for the Navara. From the factory, Navaras don’t offer much in the way of proper underbody protection. Combined with their lower ground clearance, this increases the risk of damaging critical components while off-roading. In the V9X model specifically, the oil cooler is mounted on the right side of the sump, with two exposed water lines that are very vulnerable to damage. Because of this, I decided it was essential to build a custom system to properly protect both the sump and the gearbox. Stay tuned — let’s get into it!
