It was informed by research from Imperial College London conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic on young people’s mental health. The film was co-produced with young people with lived experience, researchers, clinicians and film makers. The young people were involved in all stages of production. It is a collaboration between Imperial College London, West London NHS Trust and Inner Eye Productions, with funding from The Burdett Trust for Nursing and West London NHS Trust. It has been archived by the British Film Institute, recognising the film’s historical significance and UK heritage, and its ability to be shared and accessed for years to come.
