Lexi Hull of the Indiana Fever has emerged a a 3-point shooting phenom in the second half of the WNBA Season for the Indiana Fever, playing alongside Caitlin Clark. But she is more that an outside shooter. She always seems to get the big rebound or the big steal to win a game. Oh, and she just so happens to be very good friends with none other than Caitlin Clark. Their chemistry has helped spark the Fever to it’s first playoff appearance in many years. But to understand who Lexi Hull is, you first need to know about her background. Lexi Lauren Hull, born September 13, 1999, is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association, W.N.B.A. She played college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal, with whom she was a three-time All-Pack 12 selection, won the national championship as a junior, and received the Senior Class Award and Elite 90 Award in her senior season. Hull attended Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington, where she helped her team win two state titles and was rated a five-star recruit by ESPN. Lexie has a twin sister Lacie, whom you’ll learn played with Lexie through college. Hull has heated up at the right time for the Indiana Fever. She was recently placed into the starting lineup and has delivered. Against the Dream, Hull drained four of her five three-point attempts. She also produced a career-high of 22 points a few weeks ago against the Seattle Storm. The former Stanford Cardinal has started for the Fever in the last six games, helping the Fever go 5-1 during that timespan. On the season, Hull is averaging 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and one assist, but it's the hustle plays that have helped her stand out and become the X-factor. Hull was so good against Seattle that Caitlin Clark announced after the game that she was converting her X page into a Lexie Hull fan account. This then prompted a strong message from the Fever. "big Lexie Hull fans here," the Fever posted on X.
