The generic escalator is an additional unit which installed in 2010s (I don't know for sure about the installation year). Maybe the sensor is less sensitive, because it's not the first time I'm not detected by the sensor. The Schindler escalators are replacement from death trap OTIS escalators. Why I say it's death trap? Because physically, many steps of those escalators has been replaced by Schindler's steps (probably they took it from another escalators here) and finally it's replaced by Schindler in 2021.
