Strawberry Cake Cake Batter Ingredients 4 eggs 350 g sugar 200 ml oil 2 tbsp lemon juice 2 pinches salt 20 g baking powder 4½ tbsp milk powder 400 g all-purpose flour (maida) 200 ml milk Method 1- In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar for 5 minutes until light and fluffy. 2- Add the oil and lemon juice. Mix well. Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, milk powder, and salt. Mix gently. 3- Finally, add the milk and mix until the flour is fully combined. 4- Do not over mix. Strawberry Compote Ingredients 300 g strawberries 3 tbsp sugar Method: 1- Add strawberries and sugar to a pan. 2- Cook for about 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly. 3- Let it cool completely. Frosting Ingredients 400 g whipping cream 50 g strawberry jam Method: 1- Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. 2- Divide it into two equal portions. 3- Mix strawberry jam into one portion. 4- Keep the other portion plain. Note If your whipping cream is already sweetened, do not add extra sugar. If it is unsweetened, you can add a sweetener of your choice, such as: Condensed milk Powdered sugar Assembling the Cake 1- Place one layer of cake. 2- Spread a layer of plain whipped cream. 3- Add strawberry compote. 4- Spread the strawberry jam cream. 5- Add a layer of fresh strawberries. 6- Add another layer of plain whipped cream. 7- Spread a thin layer of compote on top. 8- Pipe flowers using plain whipped cream for decoration.
