A Drive Between Seasons: From Sunny Roads to a Snowy Mountain Pass | 季節の狭間を走る [4K]

This is a drive on the border between two seasons. Our one-hour 4K journey takes place on a day of incredible contrasts in Kumamoto, Japan. We begin on clear, sunny roads in the lowlands, enjoying the feeling of a perfect, mild day. But as we start to climb the mountain pass, the scenery undergoes a dramatic transformation. The green and brown of the landscape give way to a silent, beautiful world of pure white snow. Our journey concludes as we descend from the snowy peak and arrive at our destination: Michi-no-Eki Himawari, a roadside station whose name, "Himawari," ironically means "Sunflower."
