Comments: 1. I’m so glad they chose their best song of all time to compete with. It’s just so good. This is another example of elevating your UMK staging for Eurovision. Their vocals are on point and every member’s energy is palpable. It’s my favorite Eurovision song of all time. 2. Thank you Käärijä for giving Finland the best Eurovision spring ever. Cha cha cha isn’t a song, it’s a phenomenon. This is also a great example of having a strong staging concept at UMK, and then elevating it at Eurovision. It’s unique. It’s crazy. It’s party. 3. She is a vocal powerhouse who almost sounds better live. It’s a gorgeous power ballad with touching, Finnish lyrics. The staging is beautiful as well. 4. It’s a gorgeous song with a beautiful melody. Their voices and harmonies are amazing. The staging is great and fits the song. Rest in Peace Kimmo Blom. 5. This is so beautiful and epic. I can’t believe how young they were. A shame they had to compress it into three minutes because metal songs are typically double that in length. 6. Hands down her best entry. It’s a banger with a great message and it fit her voice the best. One of Finland’s best at Eurovision as well. 7. She crushed all the competition in 2020. It’s such a banger and the (Finnish!) lyrics are so meaningful. I can only describe the performance as camp in the best possible way. 8. It’s so simple but somehow still so captivating. I love the vocals, staging and language. 9. Deservedly the hit of its year. Her voice sonded great live and I love that it’s in Finnish. I didn’t like the staging, though, and it may have cost her the win. I don’t mind the random baseball bats, but I don’t think the purple and orange complement each other. They should’ve gone for all purple or all black like the music video. 10. This is a bop. I love the flute drop. But it did feel like there was something missing with the staging. 11. The atmosphere they created in the arena was palpable through the screen. I love the anthemic quality, their energy, his voice and the language. The lyrics are fun to listen to, but it would’ve been a bit embarrassing to send to the contest. 12. This song is very beautiful and unique. Their harmonies are great and I always appreciate singing in a native language. 13. The song is a bop and it’s great that it’s in Finnish. His vocals weren’t the best but not as bad as people say. The staging felt a bit disappointing, but I do like the dancer who showed up at the very end. 14. I love the folk elements and the fact that she says rakas in Finnish. The staging would’ve been great if it weren’t for the malfunctions. 15. It’s definitely not their best song, but it is good. His vocals weren’t the best, but he might’ve been sick or something, since he is a world class performer. They made the right choice changing the staging for Eurovision, but this one was fine too. 16. It’s a beautiful ballad performed well. I would love to hear more minority languages at UMK. 17. This is not usually my style of music, but I like it. The lyrics are unique, and she sounds exactly like the studio version when she sings live. 18. It’s a bop with a beautiful message. They really made cinema with that iconic music video. His live vocals were great and the backup singers really delivered. 19. Diandra is a vocal powerhouse and the song is lovely. The staging and styling do raise a few questions, though. 20. It’s a pretty song sung by a pretty voice. It’s not very memorable but it is nice. 21. It’s a bop with a good message. The staging concept is cool but I don’t think it was executed very well. His vocals were a bit too breathy but not as bad as people say. Great that it’s in Finnish. 22. This is here for the rap parts. They are not only in Finnish, but they also embody something about the Finnish soul. The chorus is too repetitive and she didn’t deliver on the night, possibly because she was understandably focused on not falling from that platform. 23. This is unique and it’s got a nice retro vibe. Her voice fits it very well. 24. It’s a beautiful power ballad but maybe a bit basic. Her vocals are strong and this pyro moment is gorgeous. 25. I didn’t care for it before the show, but this performance changed my mind. Especially this bridge and the anthemic ending are gorgeous. Her voice is beautiful and I love that it’s in Finnish. 26. It’s powerful and I love her voice. It’s the better of her two entries. 27. It’s a bit too bubblegum for me but it is very fun and I love the impactful message it sent at Eurovision. 28. This is very unique at UMK. It’s catchy and it’s great that it’s in Finnish. 29. I absolutely adore the pre-chorus while I don’t love the actual chorus. It’s a bit repetitive. The message is great and important. 30. Her voice is great and this performance is unique. The way the lyrics describe love is adorable. I don’t love the song itself but I do like this part of the chorus.
