My Full Report for the European Championship Finals: Day 1 Round 1 vs Purple Luffy (he went 2nd and had a perfect curve - magellan 5 don, kid blocker, queen and then kaido rush) I lost 0-1 Round 2 vs Green Kid (some newbie who has been playing for 2 months, I played a cracker on 4 don and double attack with him 2 times) I easily won 1-1 Round 3 I played against katakuri, I went 1st, he ran out of high end cards and when he got his 10 cost moms, I already had 2 Enels and a yamato on board, and he had 0 life and with an empty board. I won. 2-1 Round 4 I played against zoro, he went 2nd, I controlled his board with gedatsu/yamato and Katakuried his Rush Luffy (which he didn't attack with because I defended well) I won. 3-1 Round 5 I played against Sakazuki, he went second, He dropped a 10 cost Kaido while having 3 life, but I still won. 4-1 Round 6 I played against some random trigger heavy enel deck player who uses that 5 cost event soul poke and got it as a trigger from life, his deck was full of thunderbolts and 7 cost mom and everytime I attacked his life he got a trigger...he chopped me up and I lost. 4-2 Round 7 Mirror Match. I went 2nd because he won the dice roll, he was crying about facing a lot of Enel Mirror matches, so I quickly pressured him with attacks and the game was over on my 8 don turn, I won 😄 5-2 Round 8 I went first vs Sakazuki, it was a long game and grind, I reduced his life, so that he wouldn't use the 10 cost Kaidos on me, but in the end he dropped a 10 cost Kaido after stabilizing and having 1 life, but when he tried to go for game, he attacked me once with 7k, I had 4 cards and I threw out 3 1k counters, he didn't have enough attacks to take away all my life, even with the 10 cost Kaido on the board and I won on the next turn 6-2 Round 9 I played against Katakuri, I went 2nd and I thought, that when I had 8 don that he would have 10 don on the next turn and would play the 10 cost big mom... I attacked, he got perospero and satori from his triggers and with amaru he finished me off the next turn. Here I made the biggest misplay during the entire tournament. I had 7 cards in my hand and only 1 counter. And I left him on 1 life so that he could play amaru on sanji... what a rookie mistake...
