Skidpad & Oval Testing Will's Time Attack Honda CRX Si - RS Future Vlog #6

We were out at Willow Springs Raceway a few weeks ago, performing some baseline testing on Will's Time Attack Honda CRX. The skid pad is a great tool for setting up a track car. It provides a controlled environment and allows you to test multiple changes fairly quickly. In this video we explain some of the ways we use skid pad and oval testing to improve a cars on track performance. Will's CRX is already well developed and setting fast lap times. It is currently the fastest FWD car at The Streets of Willow Springs, and is the product of years of constant improvement. He brought RS Future on board to help him find the remaining areas that could be improved, and to help determine where resources were best allocated. The testing performed here allowed us to verify some of the potential areas of improvement found from his on track data, and to set a performance baseline that we can test against in the future.
