UMA VALSINHA PRÁ VOCÊ (music by RODRIGO BOTTER MAIO) featuring ORIMA STARK (alto saxophone) Video Nr. 210 Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well! Here I am posting my video Nr. 210 of the serie PLAYING WITH THE SONGBOOK & MAKING MUSIC WITH MY FRIENDS. For the first time playing with me and making a video together, the young and great swiss saxophonist ORIMA STARK. As a composer, there is nothing nicer than to see another musician playing one of my songs. My idea is to present great swiss musicians to my friends in Brazil (not only) and ich whole world, as the opposite, presenting great Brazilians musicians to the swiss (not only) people. Somehow this is happening in a very slow tempo. Only a few Tracks of the Songbook haven't been recorded until now. Let's see who is going to be the next? Maybe you? :-) A LITTLE ABOUT US: I used to go out playing with everyone and everywhere bur I confess that I don't go that much to jam sessions. But maybe in May there was a latin jam session at the Moods Club, were some of my friend would be playing and I decided to go. It took a long time to start playing but suddenly I saw this guy playing with his tenor sax and decided to join him in the session. It was so nice, I played all night long until the end. After that we became friends and I invited him to come to my studio to play a little together and maybe record some video, what really happened. Normally I put a Challenge before a song of the Songbook, but as I just put someone playing the Challenge Nr. 1 I decided to change the order of the things.
