After breakfast, we officially hit the road with a big “Bismillah.” Our first checkpoint was crossing Matyari, and from there, we noticed the roads started getting rough. Despite bumpy paths, our spirits were high and the crew was ready for the long haul. ☕ First Pit Stop – Royal Taj Hotel We made our first break at Royal Taj Hotel — used the washrooms and hoped for a good cup of chai. With a little rest and recharge, we were back on the road in no time. 🛤️ Route via Nawabshah We decided to take the Nawabshah road, a route one of our crew members’ father travels daily. The roads were under maintenance but manageable. A calculated detour. ⛽ Fuel Up & Tour Cost Estimate We fuel up the car for around 5000Rs. The fuel tank was approximately 40 liters. The total cost of the trip? Stay tuned — full expense breakdown will be shared at the end of the series. 🍕 Midday Feast at Stay Café Around lunch, we landed at Stay Café, where we ordered special pizza and biryani. The food hit the spot, and we even managed to offer our prayers before heading back on the highway. 🛣️ Onward to Multan – via M5 Motorway The next stretch of the journey took us past Khairpur, where we were surrounded by beautiful date palm trees. Eventually, we joined M5 Motorway. In Multan, we paused for snacks, refreshments, and fuel — keeping the vibes alive! 🕌 Prayer, Tea & More Laughter – Faisalabad Route Our route continued towards Faisalabad, with short stops for tea and prayers. Each town gave us something new — a fresh breeze, a new joke, or an excuse to stretch our legs. 🍽️ Dinner in Bhera – Monal Fusion Restaurant As evening approached, we stopped in Bhera to explore local restaurants. We chose Monal Fusion, a family-friendly spot with a kids’ play area and even a dinosaur statue! Dinner included BBQ, white handi, and fresh mango juice — all delicious and satisfying. 🏡 Arrival in Islamabad – Grand Hayat Guest House By late night, we finally arrived in Islamabad. Our stay was booked at Grand Hayat Guest House in F-7 — 2 rooms for 15,000Rs, including breakfast. The place had everything: clean beds, LED TVs, a fridge, and a calm ambiance.
