my forth Metal Gear Solid video! it's been a while since i made a Metal Gear video so i thought about doing another one. i wasn't sure if i wanted to do a MGS4 video or not since i know the game's cutscenes are alot longer than any Metal Gear game i know. this game is also the final chapter for the legendary cloned soldier, Solid Snake. but in this game, he's called "Old Snake" since he has aging acceleration and he doesn't know what caused it. anyway, i thought i give it a try by making a MGS4 video. i had to find a song that would fit best for this video and luckily i found one..."Forever May Not Be Long Enough", which is sung by a alternative rock band called "Live". of course i had to play the same song twice because this video is longer. but i also picked other soundtracks from MGS4 and they all fit perfectly. "Metal Gear Solid 4" takes place after "Metal Gear Solid 2." the third game, "Metal Gear Solid 3" is just a prequel that took place in the 1960s. back in 2008, i wasn't sure if i wanted to get a PS3 or Xbox360. but when i found out Metal Gear Solid 4 was coming out exclusively for the PS3, i decided to get a PS3 console since i'm a Metal Gear fan. i was so hyped up for this game because this is Solid Snake's final chapter and most of the well-known characters from the previous games make an appearance so i was really happy about that. i beat the game from start to finish and i liked it very much. even though the cutscenes were so long, the characters were talking way too much, but i still liked it. even the gameplay was amazing. for those who haven't played the previous MGS games, you might wanna play the first three video games - MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3 before you play MGS4 because the story itself might go over your head and you may not know what they're talking about since the characters do mention some details of the events that happened during the previous games and why some of it has to do with MGS4. you'll know why if you have played all four games. also if you haven't played this game and you're watching my video, you're probably wondering why Snake's outfit changes different colors? it's because he's wearing OctoCamo. OctoCamo is a form of smart camouflage that can, within moments of coming into contact with almost any surface, replicate both its pattern and texture.
