A Magical Festive Day In Historic Medieval YORK, One Of The Prettiest Cities in England

In this video we have a day out in the beautiful medieval city of York in England. Christmas is on the way and we browse the Christmas markets, wander round the pretty medieval streets including the historic narrow, cobbled street of The Shambles where it really feels like you've gone back in time. Many of the preserved medieval timber framed buildings here have jettied upper floors that overhang the street and it is full of history and character. It is rumored to have been the inspiration for Diagon Alley in Harry Potter. We'll also visit York Minster, the beautiful and spectacular Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter, which dates back to the 7th century. We hope you enjoy this video!
