This is the latest loco to arrive on St. Johann and is a very welcome addition. Superb sounds, smooth running and digitally controlled pantographs. Ordered in advance from DM Toys de who always give good service. The layout is St. Johann set in the Black Forest, operated with the excellent Roco Z21 Black Box system. I use 2 iPads as controllers plus 2 WLAN Maus and have 2 wired Multimaus controllers as back up in case of Wi-Fi failure. The use of iPads is indispensable when you have over 28 DCC functions as the functions are displayed on the screen in pictures. Points are controlled via 4 DCC Concepts DCD-AD8fx Cobalt Accessory Decoders. The layout was featured in Continental Modeller in December 2018 https://peco-uk.com/products/cm-decem... but there have been changes to the mountain branch and hidden sidings since then. It has also featured in the N Gauge Society Magazine and The Globe on a number of occasions.
