A lot a people ask why do the police arrest guests from Caucasus, it's against human rights. But they carry automatic guns and knives. How many people have they stabbed and killed? Why is that? Wide of demonstration STORYLINE: Around a thousand fans of the Russian football club Spartak gathered in Moscow on Saturday in memory of Yegor Sviridov, who was killed in a brawl on December 6. Fans and mourners laid flowers and pictures at the spot where the 28-year-old Spartak supporter died after being shot. Sviridov was shot during a fight between him and his companions and another group of men. A suspect arrested in the killing is a native of the Caucasus region Kabardino-Balkaria, which has fanned ethnic tensions. Fans took to Manezh Square near the Kremlin on Saturday, protesting the death. State news agency RIA Novosti said at least three people were seriously injured in the clashes. Demonstrators threw burning items and tried to break through police lines. Local news reports say many demonstrators shouted nationalist slogans such as "Russia for Russians."
