Customizing a Pearl EX Kit!

Rebuilding this Pearl EX Set was a project I was looking forward for a long time and finally got to it at the beginning of this year. Here are some pointers that do not come through in the video: The stain I bought was from www.petsit.fi, and got some good pointers from Antti. I decided to use these wipe-finishes because I didn't have access to any spraying tools. The bearing edges were remade by Ville / Luomus Woodworks (https://www.luomuswoodworks.com/), who has a been a major help with every woodwork-related subject I've needed to know throughout these projects. Most of the pre-work was done at my home, but the facilities seen later on are from Pontus elementary school's woodwork class. The cymbals I use are Sihi Cymbals, which you can get from sihicymbals.com / symbaalishoppi.fi Overall time spent on the project was around 25-30 work hours, in about a month and a half. The snare side head is Evans 200, and I use an 8 strand wire which I cut from a regular Pearl 20-strand wire.
