Na iYau Mareqeti kei Rewa

The TTFB team attended the Bose ni Yasana o Rewa, on Monday 18th July 2022, at the chiefly village of Lomanikoro, Rewa. The Bose ni Yasana was launched by the Hon. Prime Minister of Fiji and Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Sugar Industry and Forestry, the Rear Admiral (Retired) Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama. TTFB attended the auspicious occasion to formally handover and present a collection of eight videos, "Na iYau Mareqeti kei Rewa", which captured the distinctive traditional practices of eight of the province's tikina's (districts). The videos were researched with the assistance of field workers within the tikina's and compiled by TTFB's Projects Team. One of the main objectives of the production of these videos was to ensure that traditional practices unique to these tikina's of Rewa was recorded to ensure its sustainability. Na Gone Marama Bale na Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa officially launched the videos at the Bose ni Yasana yesterday.
