1600 WWRL *AM STEREO* Part 1

I have stacks and stacks of cassette recordings of AM Stereo from 1995 to today, but this one stands out as one of my all-time favorites. New York City's 1600 WWRL is absolutely one of the best-sounding AM Stereo radio stations I have ever heard. Here is an example of their fantastic sound from July 10th, 2000, as received on my Sony SRF-A100 "micro boombox" radio and recorded onto high-bias Chrome tape with Dolby B NR. Rennie Bishop's "Mix At Six" program contained some of the station's most interesting music. Today, WWRL broadcasts a Progressive Talk format, and unfortunately no longer transmits in AM Stereo, instead using Kahn Power-Side to boost the range of their signal. Rennie Bishop is now WWRL's Program Director and airs his own talk show on the station.
