Thrift flip😃. I love thrift transformation challenges. In this video i show you how I made a paper bag skirt from a thrifted pair of pants. For this project you will need to get straight baggy jeans/pants. Your hip measurement will determine how much material you will need, hence how baggy the pants should be. You will also need elastic to snatch your waist😉. This will also help create the paper bag waist effect. Alternatively you can use an elastic thread to sew the waist. Do about three rows of stitches.. It will also give you a nice gathered look. It is a very simple DIY. I loved how the skirt turned out. Especially after I styled it with some of my belts. Daaamn.!!
