(Adopted by the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on July 18, 2024) The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing from July 15 to 18, 2024. Attendees of the plenary session were 199 members of the Central Committee and 165 alternate members of the Central Committee. Members of the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and responsible comrades from relevant departments attended the meeting. Some grassroots comrades and experts and scholars among the representatives of the 20th National Congress of the Party also attended the meeting. The plenary session was chaired by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee, delivered an important speech. The plenary session listened to and discussed the work report made by Xi Jinping on behalf of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, and reviewed and adopted the "Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reforms and Promoting Chinese-style Modernization".
