Historian, author, and professor Janet Naughton presents her research and book on architect William Manly King, who designed hundreds of houses, businesses, schools, hotels, and apartments in Palm Beach County, Orlando, and Sebring. The presentation reviews his training and career, and presents photos of many of his structures, and renderings of some never built. We maintain property entrusted to us and collect, preserve and interpret items of historical and antiquarian significance. The Society seeks to preserve Boynton Beach’s history through a broad spectrum of regular programs and other special events such as guided history strolls and partnering with the City's art celebrations. We have been honored to have programs featuring outstanding authors, scholars, dramatists, and others.
