Princess Kate Celebrates Nature with Scouts in Rare Outdoor Film

The Princess of Wales has highlighted the power of nature in a new short film. Kate appears alongside Chief Scout Dwayne Fields during a visit to Lake Windermere in the Lake District. Together, they meet Scouts aged 10 to 15 from Cumbria and Greater Manchester. The young people were working towards their Naturalist Badge — which focuses on nature, conservation, and discovery. To earn it, Scouts take part in observation, environmental activities, and wildlife study. The video promotes time outdoors as a boost for mental and physical wellbeing. Kate has been joint president of the UK Scouts Association since 2020. In this role, she champions outdoor activities to boost young people's confidence and wellbeing.
