Dr. Marty Henderson of SonoVet walks you through the video clip save functions on his MyLabAlpha. "If you click the Clip button while scanning it captures 3 (or whatever length of time you have it set to) seconds of time FORWARD. This can be rather annoying if the patient moves and ruins the clip and you have to back and delete it. You also may need to make a practice swing of the clip before you capture it. But it is something you can get good at and take advantage of. But the way to capture something in the past takes more steps but has more options. If you see something go by that you want to capture you first hit freeze. Now you have 20 seconds of time that you can capture three seconds of video from within. You first have to hit Play on the touch screen to start the video and within the on-screen cine bar are you see what section is currently playing as a highlighted section of the bar. You can then use the trackball to roll that highlight section any part of the 20 seconds of the video clip. When you find the section that you want to capture, you push the Acquire button on the machine. It's extra steps for sure, but it gives you way more control. You can adjust the clip length by any amount of time with the toggle switches on the machine and then slide anywhere within the froze cineloop to capture within the loop."
