The rural city of Battambang in Cambodia is definitely one of the best places I have ever visited! It is the capital of the Battambang province and the third largest city in Cambodia. I had the most incredible time trying loads of local foods, including grilled rat and even snake wine. I rode the bamboo train, saw thousands of bats flying in swarms, and toured around the local market. There really is so much to see and do here, I think it is for sure underrated. It is a must visit destination if you are in Cambodia. I absolutely loved it.
