THIS ONE GOES OUT TO MY BOY NICKLOL! Ever since I showed him the GH series, this song in particular has always been one we bonded over, and one of his favorites. Back during Off-Season, I picked this as one of my songs while up against Kingsy, and I legit said “I’ll pick Knights of Cydonia, in honor of my friend, Nick.” Besides that though, this is possibly one of my best FCs yet, and done within 5 days of me going for it. Thank the Lord, man. Last night I got so INSANELY close to getting this, but after 3 runs of choking past the 3rd strumming section, I just had to call it quits. My mind physically could not handle hearing that damn song again, my strumming arm had basically been beaten to death by that point, and I was running on around 2 hours of sleep. I was physically and mentally exhausted, but it showed me that the FC was very much doable, and could happen at any moment now. Fast-forward to today, I tried to play the song a few times again, to hopefully try and get it out of the way. After a few tries, I made it past the first strumming section, and that was this run right here actually! First time getting past the first strumming section today, and I get the FC.
