"I've been doing a Frankie Goes To Hollywood mix, only using mixes/remixes made up to 1989 to keep it authentic, I wanted to do something different with Power of Love, they never had tonnes of remixes for it at the time (loads followed in the trance era), but at the time there was only an instrumental version, and an alternative/demo instrumental version which was added on to a later special edition of the greatest hits, so not a lot to work on. There was a little instrumental tune on Welcome to the Pleasuredome called 'The Ballad of 32', which I always liked and wanted to fit it in somewhere on the mix, so with a bit of tempo and key changing with lots of versions not quite right and some swearing / throwing empty cans around...Here's my version of Power of Love/ Ballad of 32. I'm well made up with it, it's got a real Pink Floyd/ Prog-rock feel to it now which completely changes the dynamics of the song" Lee Marchant, January 2017
