FSD 14.2 Day 2 This Is Actually Insane – Zero Interventions, 100% Smooth!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to Day 2 with Full Self-Driving FSD 14.2 in my 2025 Model X – and honestly… I’m still speechless. This update is absolutely MIND-BLOWING. Tesla has completely transformed the experience. Here’s what’s GONE in 14.2: • Phantom brake stabbing? Completely eliminated • Random hesitation at intersections? Vanished • That annoying braking hesitation on protected right turns? History • Sitting forever trying to cut across 4 lanes of traffic? No longer a thing • The infamous “leaf gate” creep that used to scare everyone? Gone for good • Jerky, uncomfortable pothole swerves? Smoothed out perfectly These drives are now genuinely FUN. It’s incredible to sit back and realize just how far we’ve come since I first got FSD Beta in 2023. The progress from then to now is night and day – it almost feels like a different car. Today’s real-world test: I hopped in, pressed the stalk twice, and FSD took over right from my driveway. It patiently waited for my front gate to swing open toward the car, judged the distance perfectly, and even backed itself up a few inches when it decided it needed extra clearance – all completely unsupervised! From there it flawlessly navigated me to physical therapy, ran a bunch of errands around town, handled busy streets, roundabouts, and everything in between with zero interventions so far. New in 14.2: Go to Controls - Autopilot and check out the brand-new “FSD Stats” section! I’m now on a personal mission to see how many miles (or days) I can rack up while staying at 100% unsupervised FSD usage. Day 2 and still holding strong! The smoothness of this version has to be experienced to be believed – acceleration, braking, lane changes, everything feels natural and confident. There are 5 FSD Driving profiles… Sloth (follows exact speed limit) Chill (2mph over) Standard (5mph over) Hurry (6mph over) Mad Max (6+mph over) With each driving profile, the computer will act differently… Mad Max will be super aggressive. FSD speed limit offset 20% (will go this much over the speed limit to keep up with surrounding traffic. (e.g. if traffic is going faster than the posted speed limit, FSD will match traffic up to 20% over the speed limit). FSD is hands-free but requires supervision in the driver's seat. The supervisor is monitored by in-cabin cameras. Glance away for more than a few seconds, and the system will prompt to look ahead. If not timely, it will prompt to touch the steering wheel ("the nag"). If steering wheel isn't touched timely, FSD will disengage and require taking over manually for the remainder of drive. This is all part of current "Supervision" status. Tesla Setup I have a 2025 Model X Long Range.
