It occurs when the cells that line the womb, called endometrium, are found in the muscle wall of the womb, called myometrium. 08:57 VAGINISMUS - For more information go to - https://bit.ly/3xAbNuf Vaginismus occurs when the muscles of a women’s vagina involuntary tighten, causing the entrance to the vagina to spasm. This can cause discomfort and pain, which can range from being mildly uncomfortable to very painful. 10:01 DYSMENORRHEA - For more information go to - https://bit.ly/3xxM5GT Dysmenorrhea (sometimes spelled dysmenorrhoea) is the medical term for menstrual cramps — pain before and during your period. It is a normal part of a woman’s menstrual cycle. In the majority of cases, they are non-cancerous (benign). The growths attach themselves to the wall of the uterus and vary in size from a few millimetres to several centimetres. In a healthy period (menstrual cycle), the ovaries release an egg each month. When you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, the egg may not develop or be released during ovulation as normal. These organs, such the womb, bladder and bowel, can then slip down from their natural position, creating a bulge in the vagina. This is called a cyst. In most cases, a cyst is painless and causes little or no symptoms. Over the course of a lifetime, many women will develop a cyst.
