Hi and welcome to my first Vlog titled the Lone Tree Rydal Water Fine Art Landscapes. I thought I’d walk you through my Landscape Photography workflow and show you how I capture my images. Ive been capturing Landscapes for many years now and keep my process fairly simple using manual settings on the camera so I have total control. The only auto setting I use is auto focus as my eyes are struggling these days! However I do use the dedicated back focus button so it does not inter fear with my shutter button. The video will show you through my process capturing landscapes. I was very nervous and discribed a few items wrong plus was speaking to fast. Hopefully this will all get better with practise. I did 2 vlogs about 3 years ago but did not publish as I chickened out! But you have to start somewhere so I will be putting them up over the next week. The first will be a morning spent at Derwent Water and here's the link • Derwentwater fine art workflow. for that vlog. Today I visited to Rydal Water in the Lake District National Park was very buissy due to school holidays filling up all the car parks! So I had a bit of a walk to get to the lone Tree which was my first stop. On arrival the heavens opened and I had to give up and head back to the van to dry off. An hour later the weather changed and I started again, this time the winds had calmed down giving great reflections in the water and low cloud creeping over the hills gave a real fine art feel to my first image. Perfect! Once I had shot the lone tree I headed to the Boat House at the other side of the lake, again it was calm and misty, giving a etherial feel to the images. Light was running out so only had time for a few compositions. A great day out as I had not been to the lakes in 3 years. My main camera is the Nikon Z9 which is a great allrounder covering everything from Sports/Bird photography to Landscapes. I have to say it is a big lump but works very well in manual nice and simple for the workflow. As I said in the vlog I only have the 2 lenses in the bag a 14-30mm and 24-120mm f4 which covers pritty much everything. Both lenses are very sharp capturing fine detail corner to corner. Thanks for watching my first Vlog if you would like to see more of my vlogs please feel free to Like and Subscribe @PeteBristoPhoto that would be great!!
