Rear sets not only change the stance and handling of the bike, but they also complete the look that makes a vintage Honda café racer feel more authentic. 🔧 What I cover in this video: Choosing and fitting rear set foot pegs on the CB350 Adjusting linkage for shifter and brake compatibility Tips for positioning rear sets for comfort & style How rear sets change the riding stance of a café racer The Honda CB350 Scrambler (CL350) is a fantastic platform for café racer builds, and adding rear sets is one of the most popular modifications. It moves the foot pegs further back and higher up, giving you a more aggressive riding position that matches the café racer style. This step is key to transforming my 1971 Honda CB350 Scrambler into a one-of-a-kind café racer project. ✅ Vintage Honda CB350 Scrambler build ✅ Installing café racer rear set foot pegs ✅ Linkage & adjustment tips ✅ Custom motorcycle modification guide If you’re building your own CB350 café racer, or just want to see what goes into fitting rear sets on a classic Honda, this video should help. #HondaCB350 #CafeRacerBuild #RearSets #ScramblerCafeRacer #HowTo #VintageHonda #CustomMotorcycle #HondaScrambler #MotorcycleMods The Honda CB350 Scrambler (also known as the CL350 in some markets) is one of the most iconic small-displacement motorcycles from the 1970s. With its lightweight chassis, reliable parallel-twin engine, and versatile scrambler styling, it’s a perfect base for a café racer or custom project. This particular bike has already had some work done on it, but it’s far from finished—so I’ll be picking up where the last builder left off and making it my own. Why the Honda CB350 Scrambler? The CB/CL350 platform is legendary in the custom motorcycle world. It’s light, simple, and has one of the most loved parallel-twin engines of the era. Parts are still available, there’s a huge community of builders out there, and the bike strikes the perfect balance between vintage charm and modern rideability when customized. A 1971 CB350 Scrambler makes an especially fun café racer project because it’s a vintage classic that still feels approachable for home garage builds. My Plans for the Build: This is going to be a blend of café racer and scrambler styling—something that keeps the vintage soul of the Honda but gives it a sharper, custom edge. The bike has already had some work done, but I’ll be rethinking a lot of it, adding new parts, and fabricating a few of my own touches along the way. Why This Project Is Different: Unlike a ground-up barn find, this CB350 Scrambler is partly built already. That means I’ll be doing a lot of “reworking”—deciding what’s worth keeping, what needs changing, and what doesn’t quite fit the vision. Sometimes starting with someone else’s project is harder than starting fresh, but it also gives me a unique challenge.
