220 V AC to 6 V DC CONVERTER using Transformer, DIODES and Capacitor || BTech 1st Year Project

In general we find a power source of 220 V AC. But many of our daily instrument need a lover voltage and also a DC power type. So conversion is extremely important. One of the simplest method of this conversion is by just using a step down transformer, four P-N junction diodes (IN 4007 here), a capacitor (2200 uF here). Basically we are constructing a BRIDGE RECTIFIER. First the entire circuit is constructed on the capacitor just by simple soldering for easy understanding. Second it is constructed on a bread board. And at last I did it on a solder-able circuit board. It is very simple and easy to do. Any questions or suggestions is extremely appreciated.
