CityLink BLUE - Hopkins Bayview to CMS Losfom Z11 Body Camera (1080p) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DP3YMDDY?... We take a pretty long and rather annoying ride onboard the CityLink Blue. If there was a line that I dread ever doing, this is the one. Annoyance is the best way to describe this service, but... aside from my personal feelings, the CityLink Blue is in the "TOP 5" most heavily ridden lines in the entire network. A successor to the original no. 23 line, alongside the CityLink Orange and LocalLink 77, the BLUE operates frequent service, 24/7 between east and west Baltimore. Traveling along one of the most densely populated stretches of the city. As I mentioned in a prior video on the CityLink ORANGE, this line undertakes the challenge of being precursor for the much anticipated 𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒆 crosstown rail service that has been sitting idle; dormant in the preliminary phase of development. In the meantime, both the Blue and Orange operates as 'distant' coupling to one another. Along Fayette Street on the eastside, both lines work in tandem to provide frequent service as good as every 6-7 minutes all-day, every day. On the westside, the Blue carries a significant load by itself along Edmondson Avenue with occasional assistance from the LocalLink 77. In 2024, the 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝟰𝟬 was resurrected, now under the name of "QuickLink," to operate as a limited-stop service in tandem with both the Blue and Orange; much like its predecessor of the same namesake for eleven years (2006-2017). Since the very beginning, the CityLink Blue has established a footing in the transit scene. Future adjustments could very well see this line absorb the LocalLink 77; leaving the Security Boulevard corridor solely to the QuickLink 40.
