But this traditional British craft is under serious threat. ⚠️ Mass-produced LED products are being falsely marketed as “neon”, misleading customers and undercutting skilled makers. ⚠️ There are currently no full-time neon trainees in the UK. That’s why I raised this issue in the House of Commons, calling on the government to: Protect the definition of real neon signage Support small businesses like Neon Creations Preserve training and job opportunities in creative industries This campaign is about more than glowing signs — it’s about authenticity, heritage, and fairness for the people behind the craft.
