How Full Digitalization Is Changing Developer Work — A Real Dalux Project / FVS Production

We delivered a full-cycle video production for **DALUX**, documenting one of the first projects in the region where a developer’s work was fully digitalized — from early design stages to the start of building operations. The video follows the real project workflow led by **Jānis Zolbergs**, co-founder of Form 2, board member, and head of the Fidik engineering group. His role covered design management, tender organization for design-build contracts, construction supervision, quality control, change and financial management — all within a unified digital environment. This project demonstrates how *Dalux* was selected as a single data platform to connect all stakeholders, ensure transparent collaboration, and manage complex requirements, including tenant demands and achieving the highest *BREEAM* rating. Digital tools were used not only for documentation, but directly on-site, allowing teams to work with high-detail 3D models via tablets and mobile devices. The video highlights how Dalux modules — *Tender, 3D Viewer, Task Management, and FM* — enabled efficient procurement, precise on-site execution, structured task control, and seamless transition into building operations. As a result, all project data was unified in one cloud environment, reducing information loss, duplication, and time spent searching for documents. Riga gained one of its first fully digitalized development projects, creating a valuable reference case for future large-scale construction projects in Latvia and internationally. Concept, filming, and post-production focused on real workflows, practical digital solutions, and clear communication of complex developer processes.
