This Nixie tube clock uses six beautiful ZM1040 tubes made by Phillips. This clock is about 25 years newer than the digital clocks I typically collect, but the clear case showcases the tubes nicely, so I had to have it. I did some more digging on archive.org, and it seems the price was raised to $999 in 2008, at which point there were "Only a few clocks left!" but it didn't actually sell out until 2019. By 2008 there were a number of other high end Nixie clocks on the market, most of which could be had for less than $999, so I would imagine the new price slowed down sales of this clock significantly.
