A WAZE to Adulthood webinar series. Many young people with disabilities want to work after high school or college, just like their peers. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a program that provides services and supports to help people with disabilities prepare for, get, and keep a job. This training will provide basic information about the vocational rehabilitation program and the available services. In Tennessee, transition services begin at age 14, equipping students with disabilities with the skills and resources needed to achieve their Measurable Postsecondary Goals, as required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). In TNSTEP training, "Transition-age youth" refers to students with disabilities preparing for life after high school.
