What two decisions can you make—and stick to—that will help you to change your life for the better, forever? Steve Mesler, a former American bobsledder and 3-Time Olympian, World Champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist, helps audiences set and attain targets on their journey toward success. Also the co-founder, president, and CEO of the internationally award-winning non-profit Classroom Champions, Mesler works with organizations to increase achievement in employee development, retention, leadership abilities, team performance, and community engagement. Mesler won his gold medal as a pusher for driver the US Olympic team in the four-man event at the 2010 Winter Olympics—then the first gold medal for the United States in the sport in 62 years. His team also finished seventh in the four-man event at the 2006 Olympic Games, and took two medals in the four-man event at the FIBT World Championships, along with gold in 2009, and bronze in 2004. In 2009, Mesler, along with his sister, founded Classroom Champions, an international non-profit that works with Olympians and Paralympians to motivate and mentor students. For his work, Mesler was named one of Sports Ilustrated’s renowned “Athletes Who Care,” and was a 2011 Nominee for the International Champion for Peace Award from Peace and Sport. A “TED-ed” educator and a featured expert on Big Think, Mesler has spoken around the world on the values of educating students through technology and mentorship. Mesler has presented at executive conferences and national conventions from Vancouver to Orlando. He has spoken on communicating the Olympic ideals in Olympia, Greece; talked about engagement in Tel Aviv, Israel; and sat as an expert on panels in Sochi, Russia and Dubai, UAE, to discuss the future of organizations in creating peace through sport education in global communities. In 2014, Mesler spoke at the Global Education Skills Forum. Other speakers at the conference included Tony Blair and Bill Clinton, among others. In 2011, Mesler was inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, and in October 2011 he was inducted into the Buffalo Hall of Fame. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the United States Olympic Committee. http://www.speakers.ca/speakers/steve... http://www.speakers.ca/
