After finishing the Austin Marathon, my legs were completely destroyed and I ended up taking two full weeks off from running. Now that the ban on pavement pounding is finally lifted, it's time to slowly build my training back up. In this video I go through my first few runs back, how my body feels after the marathon, and what I’m planning to do to deal with the knee pain that started showing up during my training block, while also testing my legs to acquire some Needohs ! Along with getting back into training, I’ve also decided to ride the MS150 again this year, a two day, 150 mile bike ride from Houston to College Station that raises money for the National MS Society. Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, and the goal of this ride is to support research and help people living with MS. My goal this year is to raise $1000.
