My last video was disappointing as the colour was all washed out, so I tried again with a different camera. I start off with a quick update about the new track layout having scrapped the traverser. We then get stuck in with another running session involving two Mainline J72s, and a Mainline Class 03 shunter. These three locos are almost 40 years old, yet they run beautifully with my home-made controller. Two cost £30 from eBay (2021) and one was £15 in 2018. The Dapol coach is still on sale (July 21) at Rails of Sheffield for £10, and the three Hornby wagons (which needed TLC) were £2.50 each from the model railway charity shop on the East Lancs Railway. Therefore, you can have a LOT of fun with well under £100's worth of trains.
