Για να δούμε την ημερομηνία κατασκευής κοιτάζουμε τα νούμερα πχ [ 1719 ] είναι 17εβδομη εβδομάδα του 2019 ,κανονικά το λάστιχο αντέχει 5 χρόνια η 50000 χλμ ,εάν πάρετε το σετ με τα κολλητικά κορδόνια τροχίστε λίγο το εργαλείο για να το κάνετε ποιο λεπτό και την μύτη του οκ ευχαριστώ πολύ να είστε πάντα καλά Apart from the kit, you'll need to have a small air compressor, to fill up the tire again. First fill the tire with adequate air, so that it doesn't rest flat on the ground. It's OK to fill it up to specs at this point, it won't do any harm. Take the strip insertion tool, take out one rubber strip, and pass it through the eye. You do this beforehand, so that you'll be quick to put it in place when the time comes, and the tire won't lose much air. Now take out whatever it is that punctured the tire, eiter a nail or a screw or anything else. Take the reamer tool and try to insert it in the tire. You need a wide hole so that the strip will pass easier. So insert and retract the reamer tool a couple of times to widen the hole. Remember : this step is easier said than done! After the hole is wide enough, take the strip insertion tool, and as fast as possible insert it in the hole, and try to insert the strip as far down the hole as possible, taking care to leave a little bit of material outside the tire. It is important to leave some of the strip outside, so that the hole will seal properly. However, if you manage to pass a little bit of the strip inside, and most of it remains outside, it will still do the job. A long as the hole is sealed all around, the kit will work. Rotate the tool a couple of times, and then slowly and firmly pull it out until all of it comes out. It may come out slowly or sudenly. Either way, the strip will have remained inside, and the tool must be released from the remaining rubber strip. After removing the tool, cut away the excess rubber stip with a utility knife or side cutter. Use the air compressor to refil the tire to specs, and you can continue your trip. It is good practice to visit a tire repair shop as soon as possible, to check for other punctures, or repair the puncture properly from the inside. However, if you leave the tire like this, without repairing anything from the inside, it will work just fine, provided the strip seals the hole fully and doesn't let any air out. One more point to remember is that the insertion tool has a split eye, so that the strip slips inside easier. However, this split eye, may brake during the rotating of the tool, and one of the metal pieces may stay inside the tire. In this case, you definately need to visit a tire repair shop, to take out the metal and maybe patch the tire again, properly this time from the inside. The tires have the manufacturing date engraved on the sides, in the form of a 4 digit code. The first 2 digits correspond to the week of the year of manufacturing, and the last two represent the last 2 digits of the year. So for instance a code that reads "1719" means that the tire is manufactured at the 17th week of the year that ends in "19", and no it doesn't mean a decade ago. It means 2019. This tire puncture repair kit is quite usefill. In case you get one, make sure you sharpen the nose of the insertion tool, so that it passes the strip easier. Also, if the kit has tire glue with it , apply some in the hole, before inserting the strip. Thanks for watching, and if you like what you see, consider subscribing.
