When you are dependent on something happening in your personal life, "It's not my job" never comes into the equation. When needed you will check up and make sure it is going to happen. Yet at work, some people/teams use "that's not my job" as a way to limit their involvement to anything outside their immediate area, even though they know failure in that process/step will have impacts on their team's ability to deliver. A strong contributor to the silo effect. The Agile Mindset doesn't recognise "that's not my job," because true Agile teams have collective responsibility for everything they know will impact project success and delivery.
